BEST BOOK I EVER READ
"The Greatest
Salesman In the World" by OG Mandino.
Everyone in business should read it.
I’ve read this book many times over the years and my company is mostly modeled
after this book.
ADVERSITY & GROWING
UP
I grew up in a small town of 306 people with 9 Black families in the general
area. Frankly no one had much...if you
didn't hunt and fish you probably didn't have enough to eat. In my world going to school was a
delight...mainly because there was running water and you had lots of kids to interact with. At about age 9 or 10 I came home from school
one day, sat on the back steps of our house and remember thinking that the
world has got to be bigger
than where I am right now? At that age I
decided I was going to listen to anyone that told me anything positive or gave
advise on how to achieve a goal. My
story is not so much about adversity and how I overcame it as it is about
reviewing circumstances and environment and making a very clear decision that I
was going to listen to anyone that said I want to help you, I want to educate
you, I want to teach you.
THE BEST PIECE OF ADVISE
I EVER RECEIVED
Don't try to remember everyone you meet at large events.
Instead focus on making sure they remember you.
